I was studying Oedipus Rex in English when I took the photograph. The butterfly didn't move much, so I took several pictures of it with my camera.

Edit :: Slight resizing, but basically just to fix the border around the photo.

I've never quite understood the appeal of this photograph. I suppose it is rather odd, and the colors have some element to them - although I think I should have experimented with tweaking them around a bit. Hmm.

That's actually a wall of sorts. Porcelain tile-like sort of. And that light is actually that hideous flash thing that cameras are notorious for. But I guess it sort of works here, although I could have tried a different lighting angle perhaps. Hmm.

oh wow, the detail! it's great, im really diggin' it. i really like the contrast of this whole picture. and the red eyes go well with it. i like the green too, it all seems to fit, and really captures your eye.

for the typo, im not really sure it "goes" with it, if you catch my drift.

nice capture! wonderful detail!
